2.6 Comprehensive protection and self-diagnosis function
a. Automatic phase sequence correction: This function automatically adjusts the phase sequence to guarantee the correct power phase sequence for the three-phase motor, effectively preventing potential valve damage due to improper power configurations.
b. Phase Loss Protection: Safeguarding your motor from the perilous effects of phase loss, the controller vigilantly monitors each phase of the power supply. Should any phase go missing, the motor pauses instantly if in motion, or remains static if at rest. The on-site LCD screen promptly alerts you with a power phase loss alarm, while remote notifications are readily available through configured indicator contacts, ensuring comprehensive oversight and protection.
c. Torque Protection: Tailored to your specific needs, users can set protective thresholds for over-torque in both opening and closing directions (ranging from 40-100% of the rated torque). When the actuator's torque surpasses these thresholds, the motor ceases rotation immediately, and an audible alarm is triggered, safeguarding your equipment effectively.
d. Motor Stall Protection: Through continuous monitoring of motor currents, this feature ensures real-time cessation of motor operation in the event of a stall, providing robust protection for both the motor and actuator.
e. Valve Stuck Protection: In scenarios where the valve is stuck at the closed limit, the actuator maximizes torque to facilitate opening. If unsuccessful within a specified timeframe, power supply to the motor is gracefully disconnected, ensuring no unnecessary strain is placed on the system.
f. Motor Overheat Protection: Equipped with dual temperature regulators, the system vigilantly monitors motor coil temperatures, instantly disengaging the control circuit upon detecting overheating, thus preserving the longevity of your actuator.
g. Instantaneous Reversal Protection: To counteract the potential wear from sudden reversals, this feature employs an automatic delay circuit, mitigating impact loads and regulating surge currents through the contactor, thus prolonging the lifespan of the actuator components.
h. Automatic Self-Detection and Diagnosis (ASTD): Every time the actuator is powered, it automatically inspects its operational circuits, safeguarding accuracy and reliability. Occasionally occurring faults are swiftly diagnosed and displayed in iconic form on the screen, while prohibiting electric operations to facilitate hassle-free on-site maintenance.
i. Data Record Protection: In instances of power outages, the actuator secures all parameters within the EEPROM, ensuring data integrity for up to 20 years, providing peace of mind against data loss.
j. Surge Protection (Lightning Arrester): Choose between AC power or signal surge protectors to equip your actuator with robust lightning protection, tailored to your specific needs.
k. Anti-condensation Heating Protection: Maintain optimal conditions within the electrical cavity by selecting the activation of heating resistors based on ambient temperature, thus preventing detrimental condensation effects.
2.7 Local Control
AUKEMA actuators feature two intuitive, non-intrusive magnetic control knobs: the mode knob, offering "local," "remote," and "stop" settings; and the operation knob, with "open" and "close" options. In "local" mode, simply turn the operation knob to command the actuator in the desired direction. Local control can be further customized with "jog" and "hold" modes, ensuring precise and flexible control.
2.8 Remote Control
Effortlessly connect the actuator to a DCS or PLC using a hard-wired cable for streamlined control via switch quantity (manual) or current quantity (automatic).
Switch quantity control is equipped with three input terminals: valve opening, valve closing, and stop/hold, allowing selection between inching and holding modes. Additionally, auxiliary controls include emergency protection (ESD), as well as valve opening and closing interlocks. Remote inputs are photoelectrically isolated, offering resistance to surges up to 2.5KV, ensuring reliable and uninterrupted operation.
The sophisticated remote analog quantity control is enhanced with linear optocoupler isolation, enabling the valve to be precisely positioned in direct accordance with the input analog quantity signal ratio.
Experience seamless integration in control systems with our remote analog feedback feature that delivers valve position data back to your DCS or PLC via a 4-20mA signal. Additionally, an option to select torque feedback remotely is also available.
2.9 ESD Control
In critical situations, the ESD (Emergency Shutdown) signal provides ultimate authority, overriding any pre-existing local or remote signals based on parameter settings to decisively command the actuator to close or open the valve. Options for ESD actions include 'close the valve', 'open the valve', or 'hold position', offering adaptable emergency responses.
2.10 Interlock Control
Designed for challenging environments, this actuator is capable of executing conditional control configurations for superior operational performance.
This operational mode requires the presence of two distinct signals for action. For instance, the actuator will only close the valve if both a remote close input and a close interlock input are concurrently received. If only one signal is available or if one is lost, the actuator will halt operations to prevent failures. For applications necessitating ESD protocols, a dedicated ESD input takes precedence over other control signals, nullifying any active or incoming commands when triggered.
2.11 Diverse Fieldbus Connections
The AUKOMA system effortlessly integrates into fieldbus digital control frameworks. With support for open protocols such as Profibus, Modbus, Hart, Foundation Fieldbus, and DeviceNet, AUKOMA delivers versatility. FAQ
Q1: Do you have any standard international certificates?
*We have ISO9001, ISO14000, CE, UL and other certifications. Our products also have sepcial deisgn patents.
Q2: Are there any special certification requirements for this product?
*There are certification requirements for explosion-proof actuators in China. They must have explosion-proof certificates and production licenses issued by the National Explosion-proof Electrical Inspection Center. By 2020, the production license will be cancelled and converted to 3C certification. Coal mine products have mining product safety mark certificates (referred to as coal safety certification) and mining product explosion-proof certificates. This coal mine certification product is our company's advantage product. At present, in the electric actuator industry, only 6 actuator manufacturers in China have such mining valve actuator certificates. Domestic coal mines must have products with this mining safety certificate to be used on pipelines underground in coal mines. Therefore, compared with other ground products, there will be less competition in the coal mine sector. Now the company's export of coal mine products is also rising year by year.
Q3: If this product can be operated using WiFi, are there any anti-theft wall measures?
*AK smart series has GPRS mobile phone card wireless control function, which is a special optional function with name, password and verification code to ensure security. This function is not widely used in China at present. It will be considered in some special areas where control cables cannot be laid but there is a signal network.
Q4: Does the factory have a CO Form E record?
*Yes
Q5: How long is the warranty period for this product?
*One year based on the date of manufacture.
Q6: How to start calculating the warranty period?
* According to the date of manufacture (the year and month of manufacture are on the product nameplate).
Q7: What are the advantages of your company? (Price, special accessories, product quality)
* The company's main products are electric actuators, which are equipped with valve products. Our company was established for 13 years. We founded the (Changneng) brand electric actuators and later founded the (AUKOMA) brand high-end series electric actuators. After more than ten years of market operation, the product quality and market sales are stable, and we have a certain reputation in the domestic industry. Our brand is medium in China, and our product series is relatively comprehensive. We have Z, Q, CND, AK series products that can compete with domestic first-line products, and AK series products that can replace international brands. There are great advantages in cost performance.
Let's talk about what this electric actuator is used for. The electric actuator controls the opening and closing of the valve, and the valve controls the opening and closing of the pipeline. Valves include manual valves, electric valves, pneumatic valves, electro-hydraulic valves, etc. With the improvement of industrial automation, more and more automatic control valves such as electric valves or pneumatic valves are used on pipelines that originally used manual valves. Electric valves require our electric actuators, which means the actuators are the brains of electric valves. After using electric actuators, the valves can be switched on and off through on-site electric buttons or remote computer systems, thereby controlling the on and off of the pipelines.
Q8: Does the price change every month or is it fixed?
*The price is fixed. Without special reasons such as a sharp increase in raw materials, the price will generally not change.
Q9: Is it in stock or produced after orders? If the production is after the order, how long will it take to produce? Delivery time?
*Export products have different requirements for materials, packaging, etc. They will be produced according to orders.
*Generally, it takes about 10 days for less than 50 units and 20 days for less than 100 units. The production cycle of AK high-end series will be slightly extended.
Q10: What material is this product made of?
*The product has two types of materials: iron shell and aluminum shell. The aluminum shell is small and the small size of the AK intelligent series is aluminum shell, and the conventional model and large size are cast iron. The large size has a large output torque, and the cast iron shell is used because cast iron has a strong pressure bearing capacity.
Q11: Are we currently doing OEM with other brands?
*We do OEM for several domestic units, and we aslo accpet OEM oreders.
Q12: Have we done any relatively large and well-known enterprise projects?
*Our products are used in major domestic steel mills, power plants, water plants (sewage, tap water), coal mine water treatment, coal mine gas extraction, petroleum and petrochemicals, etc.
Q13: Does this product have a service life?
*Yes, the service life is related to the switching frequency of the valve. The valve is installed on the pipeline, and the electric actuator is a device that controls the valve switch. If the valve switching frequency is very high, the actuator will be used more frequently, and the internal gears and turbines, worms, nuts, etc. will have certain wear, but it is much longer than the service life of the valve. Some valves on pipelines need to be replaced after a few years. Generally, the actuator will be replaced at the same time as the valve. At present, our products are used on pipelines, and many actuators from more than 10 years ago are also in normal use.
Q14: Can parts be replaced if the product is damaged?
*It can be replaced. Generally, the limit switch that controls the valve opening and closing is a high-frequency component and may need to be replaced.
Q15: How much does the factory produce per month?
*1,200-1500 sets per month.
Q16: What is the payment methods accepted?
*We accpet TT, Paypal, West Union, World First, Alipay, Wechat Pay etc.
