The 'Double seal' mechanism safeguards internal components, while an optional protective cover for outdoor applications adds a layer of defense to the operating knob. This innovative design ensures complete convenience in safeguarding equipment in various environments.
All calibration and parameter configurations can be achieved without unsealing the box. The magnetic control knob, infrared remote, or handheld PDA provides convenient options for parameter setting and debugging.
2.6 Comprehensive protection and self-diagnosis function
a. Automatic phase sequence correction: This sophisticated function automatically adjusts the phase sequence, guaranteeing that the three-phase motor maintains the correct power phase sequence. It effectively prevents valve damage stemming from incorrect electrical connections.
b. Phase Loss Protection: Safeguard your motor from potential damage! When a three-phase motor experiences a phase loss, it risks overheating and burning out. Our intelligent controller diligently monitors the power supply's three phases. If any phases are lost, the motor halts immediately if in motion, or remains immobile if static. An on-site LCD screen displays a power phase loss alarm, while configured indication contacts provide remote indication information.
c. Torque Protection: Tailor torque safety to your needs! Users can set specific protection values for excess torque, ranging between 40-100% of the rated torque, for both opening and closing actions based on site conditions. If the electric actuator's actual torque meets or exceeds the set value, the motor ceases rotation instantly, accompanied by an alert.
d. Motor Stall Protection: Real-time motor current monitoring ensures immediate cessation of motor activity upon stalling, safeguarding both the motor and actuator from potential harm.
e. Valve Stuck Protection: When actuators perform valve opening at closed limits, the torque protection function temporarily pauses. Valves in a stuck position are opened with maximum motor torque. If unsuccessful within the set time, power to the motor is disengaged.
f. Motor Overheat Protection: Dual temperature regulators within the motor coil detect coil temperature directly. If overheating occurs, they disengage the actuator's control circuit, ensuring motor safety.
g. Instantaneous Reversal Protection: An automatic delay circuit activates upon receiving an instantaneous reversal command, guarding against impact loads that could cause undue wear on the valve stem and gearbox. Furthermore, it limits surge current through the contactor.
h. Automatic Self-detection and Diagnosis (ASTD): Upon power-up, the actuator conducts an automatic operational circuit check to verify correct functioning. Should rare equipment failures arise, diagnostics are displayed iconically on-screen, and electric valve operation is inhibited for easier on-site maintenance.
i. Data Record Protection: Paramount data security! Even during main power outages, various parameters are securely stored in EEPROM, ensuring they remain intact for up to 20 years.
j. Surge Protection (Lightning Arrester): Opt for an AC power surge protector and/or a signal surge protector to offer lightning protection tailored to your actuator's needs.
k. Anti-condensation Heating Protection: Adjust the heating resistor settings based on the electrical cavity's temperature, providing anti-condensation heating protection perfectly suited for the valve actuator.
2.7 Local Control
AUKEMA actuators feature two intuitive magnetic control knobs, ensuring seamless operation. The mode knob offers three positions: 'local', 'remote', and 'stop'. The operation knob provides 'open' and 'close' settings. With the mode knob set to 'local', toggling the operation knob determines the actuator's movement. Choose between 'jog' and 'hold' for precise local control.
2.8 Remote Control
Seamlessly integrate with DCS or PLC using a hard-wired cable to control the actuator through switch quantity (manual) or current quantity (automatic) settings.
Switch quantity control includes three input terminals: valve opening, valve closing, stop/hold. Choose between inching and holding modes. Auxiliary control features emergency protection (ESD), valve opening interlock, and valve closing interlock. Remote input undergoes photoelectric isolation, withstanding surges up to 2.5KV.
Our state-of-the-art remote analog quantity control utilizes sophisticated linear optocoupler isolation, allowing precise valve positioning based on the input signal ratio. This ensures exceptional accuracy and control.
Our advanced remote analog quantity valve position feedback seamlessly transmits valve position data to DCS or PLC systems via a reliable 4-20mA signal. Additionally, you have the option to select remote analog feedback of torque, offering comprehensive monitoring.
2.9 ESD Control
In urgent scenarios, the ESD signal can take precedence over any local or remote inputs (configured as per parameter settings), enabling the actuator to decisively open or close the valve. You can choose the ESD action to be 'close the valve,' 'open the valve,' or 'hold position,' providing flexibility and safety.
2.10 Interlock Control
For high-demand tasks, the actuator is configurable for conditional control, offering robustness and reliability.
In this strategic mode, operation relies on two independent signals. For instance, if both a remote close input and a close interlock input signal are active, the actuator will assuredly close the valve. If only one signal is active or in case of a signal loss, the actuator will hold or cease operations to prevent system failure. For ESD applications, a dedicated ESD input is available, which supersedes local or remote control signals. Thus, when engaged, all other control signals are disregarded.
2.11 Diverse Fieldbus Connections

FAQ
Q1: Do you have any standard international certificates?
*We have ISO9001, ISO14000, CE, UL and other certifications. Our products also have sepcial deisgn patents.
Q2: Are there any special certification requirements for this product?
*There are certification requirements for explosion-proof actuators in China. They must have explosion-proof certificates and production licenses issued by the National Explosion-proof Electrical Inspection Center. By 2020, the production license will be cancelled and converted to 3C certification. Coal mine products have mining product safety mark certificates (referred to as coal safety certification) and mining product explosion-proof certificates. This coal mine certification product is our company's advantage product. At present, in the electric actuator industry, only 6 actuator manufacturers in China have such mining valve actuator certificates. Domestic coal mines must have products with this mining safety certificate to be used on pipelines underground in coal mines. Therefore, compared with other ground products, there will be less competition in the coal mine sector. Now the company's export of coal mine products is also rising year by year.
Q3: If this product can be operated using WiFi, are there any anti-theft wall measures?
*AK smart series has GPRS mobile phone card wireless control function, which is a special optional function with name, password and verification code to ensure security. This function is not widely used in China at present. It will be considered in some special areas where control cables cannot be laid but there is a signal network.
Q4: Does the factory have a CO Form E record?
*Yes
Q5: How long is the warranty period for this product?
*One year based on the date of manufacture.
Q6: How to start calculating the warranty period?
* According to the date of manufacture (the year and month of manufacture are on the product nameplate).
Q7: What are the advantages of your company? (Price, special accessories, product quality)
* The company's main products are electric actuators, which are equipped with valve products. Our company was established for 13 years. We founded the (Changneng) brand electric actuators and later founded the (AUKOMA) brand high-end series electric actuators. After more than ten years of market operation, the product quality and market sales are stable, and we have a certain reputation in the domestic industry. Our brand is medium in China, and our product series is relatively comprehensive. We have Z, Q, CND, AK series products that can compete with domestic first-line products, and AK series products that can replace international brands. There are great advantages in cost performance.
Let's talk about what this electric actuator is used for. The electric actuator controls the opening and closing of the valve, and the valve controls the opening and closing of the pipeline. Valves include manual valves, electric valves, pneumatic valves, electro-hydraulic valves, etc. With the improvement of industrial automation, more and more automatic control valves such as electric valves or pneumatic valves are used on pipelines that originally used manual valves. Electric valves require our electric actuators, which means the actuators are the brains of electric valves. After using electric actuators, the valves can be switched on and off through on-site electric buttons or remote computer systems, thereby controlling the on and off of the pipelines.
Q8: Does the price change every month or is it fixed?
*The price is fixed. Without special reasons such as a sharp increase in raw materials, the price will generally not change.
Q9: Is it in stock or produced after orders? If the production is after the order, how long will it take to produce? Delivery time?
*Export products have different requirements for materials, packaging, etc. They will be produced according to orders.
*Generally, it takes about 10 days for less than 50 units and 20 days for less than 100 units. The production cycle of AK high-end series will be slightly extended.
Q10: What material is this product made of?
*The product has two types of materials: iron shell and aluminum shell. The aluminum shell is small and the small size of the AK intelligent series is aluminum shell, and the conventional model and large size are cast iron. The large size has a large output torque, and the cast iron shell is used because cast iron has a strong pressure bearing capacity.
Q11: Are we currently doing OEM with other brands?
*We do OEM for several domestic units, and we aslo accpet OEM oreders.
Q12: Have we done any relatively large and well-known enterprise projects?
*Our products are used in major domestic steel mills, power plants, water plants (sewage, tap water), coal mine water treatment, coal mine gas extraction, petroleum and petrochemicals, etc.
Q13: Does this product have a service life?
*Yes, the service life is related to the switching frequency of the valve. The valve is installed on the pipeline, and the electric actuator is a device that controls the valve switch. If the valve switching frequency is very high, the actuator will be used more frequently, and the internal gears and turbines, worms, nuts, etc. will have certain wear, but it is much longer than the service life of the valve. Some valves on pipelines need to be replaced after a few years. Generally, the actuator will be replaced at the same time as the valve. At present, our products are used on pipelines, and many actuators from more than 10 years ago are also in normal use.
Q14: Can parts be replaced if the product is damaged?
*It can be replaced. Generally, the limit switch that controls the valve opening and closing is a high-frequency component and may need to be replaced.
Q15: How much does the factory produce per month?
*1,200-1500 sets per month.
Q16: What is the payment methods accepted?
*We accpet TT, Paypal, West Union, World First, Alipay, Wechat Pay etc.
